I'm in a wired funk about yugioh

When I first started playing yugioh back in 2010 on yugioh online 3 it was nothing like the game today. The people were much nicer and the game was more fair, but recently I have started to notice more the unfairnity of the game. Dueling network is full of noobs and people with no respect for the game. Bad players are able to top due to them playing one variety or another of dragon rulers, and therefore I am considering my retirement from the game, which means a new leader will be needed for the academy as I want to distance myself from anything yugioh relegated until the game improves.

Crap man, I don't want to see you leave since I've barely met you and you have done a lot about the academy. But if you wish to leave, I respect your decision.

Max, this is quite a surprise, and a shame. I share some of your concerns though. Personally I don't really have any problem with what the game is like at the moment, but I understand that many do. Phases of the game come and go; for example I think the game right now is quite different from how it was even a few months ago. I do sympathize completely with what you say about people being a lot less friendly nowadays. I have run into a lot of people who are decidedly unpleasant (if you run into der horstmaster, steer clear).

If you plan on distancing yourself from the game completely, then I suppose this is goodbye.

As for a new leader, I think Alexis is the natural choice, being the present vice-chancellor, and the only one after Max who seems to know how this place works.

Just a thought, but the academy has a fairly large amount of people who don't duel like that, as far as I know. You could stop going in random duels and rated, and maybe create some sort of system where there's, say, an olds-school duels thing? an area for just dueling old school, w/ out OTKs and super Linear decks...
just a thought.

This exactly the sort of attitude that pisses me off, I know your a good guy and like a laugh but most people with this attitude is over confident arrogant 12 year old boys that think they know everything about the game because they watch the anime.

Yeah I know you meant it as a joke, I'm just saying there are people that have that attitude no matter who there talking to. There are only so many times you can humiliate someone trying to act big before it gets old.

as anybody who read maxi's posts would know...
he's not leaving yet, he's getting a team of people up to take over first.
those idiots are awesome btw. I can just pretend to be bad, get them overconfident, and then enjoy the shock. hasn't gotten old for me yet.

I know he is gonna chose dominat or alexis as the chancellor I got psychic powers ( I finally spelled psychic right) but if its an election my vote goes to aster and I wil always support him over everybody except me

No disrespect to Aster, but I do not think he should be the chancellor. I don't think it's right for a dorm leader to be chancellor as well; it's too much responsibility in one place, and work will necessarily need delegating down again. I am sure that, were a dorm leader to become chancellor, they would sooner or later decide to find a replacement dorm leader to allow them to focus on their responsibilities to the site. Moreover, I think it would be silly (not to mention two-faced) for those people who supported Aster's promotion to Raviel boys' dorm leader to support him on to becoming chancellor, if this would mean giving up the position he already has. I agree that Aster was the right man to get the position he did, and now having got it, that should be an end to it.

Of course, this does rule me out of the race as well. I personally do not think I am chancellor material. My focuses are too specifically geared to testing recruits and contributing to topics. I don't think I am cut out for any of the organizational elements of the position.

If Alexis were online more, I think she would be perfect for the position. I just think she needs some encouraging.

hazmah, what did I say that was offensive? What I said is that Aster is well-suited to his position, and so he should not be seeking another. I haven't even heard him say that he wants to be chancellor.

The point I am making is that he should not have both positions simultaneously and, given that he is already a dorm leader, he should not be chancellor as well.

Also I'm finding you quite difficult to understand. Could you use punctuation please?
