Hi guys, this is my deck shop. I am open to requests and the first week of requests will be free until the Academy gets up and running and your earning DP, take advantage of my generosity it does not happen often.

If you just need help use the pimp my deck section located in the classroom, this is for me to build and deck and test it for you. Cuts out the boring bit for you and gives it to me.

I don't understand why frog monarchs are loved so much. I guess i fits a certain play style.

JThompson_04, you are right, it does fit a certain style. But I think that the main reason people enjoy the deck is because it is so interactive, and it has so many options. So many decks, from Dark World to Exodia, are not very interactive because they play out in a very similar way regardless of the opponent. But a deck with more options and decisions requires relatively more skill to play.

Also the Frog Monarch deck is not so much a deck as a template, which can be tweaked and changed with each new format. For this reason it will always be just on the periphery of competitive play, as a left-field answer to the best decks. If you check out what I have written so far on my detailed discussion of the deck, you will see I have entitled it "The Ever-Present Antagonist of Formats", and I think this is an accurate characterization.

With that theory than Dragon Rulers would be just as loved as Frog Monarchs. Dragon Rulers have the most options and are the most consistent. There are many different versions of dragon rulers, and the dragon mirror is very interactive. Dragon Rulers are not auto-pilot, but everybody has a negative view of them. The only reason why people played spellbooks last format was because kycoo, jowgen said no to dragons. Everybody is trying to hate on dragon rulers when they are a good deck to master because of the versatility and the deck building options.
